According to a recent analysis released by Clarivate Analytics, the Impact Factor for the International Journal of Refrigeration (IJR) is now reported to be 3.177 for the year 2018. These results confirm that the IJR is still highly recognised within the engineering industry as a referential base for technical knowledge.
The Impact Factor is an analytical tool which measures, on average, the number of times a paper has been cited in a particular journal during a given period. Based on this Impact Factor, the IJR has been ranked 12th out of 60 thermodynamics journals and 23rd out of 129 engineering/mechanical journals in the International Scientific Indexing database.
This report, which also analyses a variety of other indicators, proves that the IJR is still a highly reputable publication which continues to serve the technical community.
