Air Products has launched a new air-separation plant in Tangshan, China, and will supply oxygen via a pipeline to Guo Feng Steel, along with liquid products to other customers in the region. With a production level of over 30 million tons, Guo Feng Steel is one of the largest steel producers in China, and the sector is growing almost 20%/year. Air Products, a corporate member of the IIR, has over 20 000 employees, operates in over 30 countries and has annual revenue topping USD 8 billion.
