Policy, Regulations, and Standards Track at ICR 2027

Organisers invite abstract submissions addressing policy, standards, and regulatory developments across all refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump sectors, including but not limited to:

• Refrigerant transition policy (e.g. Kigali Amendment implementation, F-gas regulations)
• Energy efficiency standards and labelling
• Safety standards for low-GWP and natural refrigerants
• Cold chain and food security policy
• Building codes and heat pump deployment policy

 

Selected papers will be presented in a dedicated Policy, Regulations, and Standards Track at the congress and will be of particular interest to policymakers, regulators, standards bodies, and industry stakeholders working on regulatory alignment and compliance.

• 1 October 2026: Closing date for all abstract submissions
• 1 December 2026: Notification to authors of abstract acceptance 
• 1 March 2027: Full papers due
• 1 May 2027: Early bird registration opens
• 15 June 2027: Preliminary programme announcement
• 22 August 2027: Welcome reception
• 23 August 2027: Opening ceremony
