Revenue from energy-efficient HVAC systems on the rise
Revenue from energy-efficient HVAC systems to almost double by 2020
Annual revenue from energy-efficient HVAC systems is expected to rise from USD 17.2 billion in 2013 to USD 33.2 billion by 2020 according to a new report from Navigant Research.
The report analyses the global market opportunity for energy-efficient HVAC, including unitary systems, heat pumps, furnaces and boilers, ductless cooling, engineered cooling systems, radiant heating and cooling, and ventilation systems.
It provides a comprehensive assessment of the demand drivers, business models, policy and regulatory factors and technology issues, segmented by application, region and key major companies
The North American market is to revive during 2013 and begin to experience more substantial growth during 2014, and Europe should follow a similar trend even though recovery will not occur before mid-to-late 2014. However, the strongest expansion should occur in the Asia-Pacific as it should account for up to 55% of the world market by 2020.
The report specifically identifies large global HVAC suppliers, such as Carrier, Hitachi, Trane, Daikin and LG Electronics.
