Working Group on the thermal management systems for electric vehicles

The IIR has decided to set up a working group on this subject. Experts from different countries are invited to join. We need you!

Electric vehicles are gradually replacing internal combustion vehicles. At the same time, air conditioning has become the norm for all new vehicles. Optimising the thermal management of these vehicles is a global environmental necessity. The IIR has therefore decided to set up a working group on this subject. We need experts from every continent to create a platform for exchange and communication between scientists and with the general public. We need you!

Automotive thermal management has become the key technology of electric vehicles. The industry of electric vehicle thermal management systems is developing with opportunities and challenges. Innovation and cooperation are significant cornerstones for the industry of electric vehicle thermal management systems. The main aim of the working group is to build an international communication platform for the experts from different countries in the field.

The experts of the working group will gather regularly, either physically or on-line, to plan the academic and technical activities of the working group, disseminating new ideas and technologies.

A workshop at the IIR International Congress of Refrigeration and an International Conference on Automotive Thermal Management System are to be held every two years. The briefing note on automotive thermal management should be regularly updated. It is also a platform for experts in the field to explore opportunities for cooperation from a global perspective. Experts from different countries are warmly invited to join the working group on thermal management systems for electric vehicles.
