Résumé

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the occurrence of Listeria monocytogenes and its serogroups/serotypes in this kind of cheese commercialized in Pelotas city. Thirty cheese samples from five stores were used for evaluations. The results showed that 26.7% of these samples were contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes.
