IIR Rankine Conference 2020
Now an online event!
Advances in Cooling, Heating and Power Generation
With a selection of quality technical papers lined up, join your peers to celebrate the legacy of William Rankine from July 27 to July 31, 2020.
This IIR conference, organised by the IoR (UK Institute of Refrigeration) is timed to coincide with the bi-centenary of the birth of William Rankine. It will mark the legacy of WJM Rankine whose name is now synonymous with power generation cycles.
The first international conference bringing together the disciplines of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (RACHP) to encourage the flow of ideas between the two fields. It will provide a forum to discuss the shared environmental challenges being faced, the solutions being proposed and the difficulties in choosing the most efficient working fluids.
The conference programme will include plenary and side events celebrating William Rankine and three main streams exploring:
- Power generation
- Heating and Cooling
- Working fluids
