Summary
This article is the Italian translation of the paper "Thermophysical properties and transfer processes of refrigeration" presented at an IIR conference held in Vicenza, Italy (see the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2006-0619). It presents issues and results in development of compact and low cost R-744 units for a system of 1 kW capacity. It also presents a comparison with a typical currently available cost-optimized R-134a system.
