Type of article: Article
Summary
Presents an investigation of to what extent the requirements for thickness of insulating materials have been increased in the different versions of the regulations. Uses calculation examples to show that, when solar glass is used and solar heat gains are taken into account (in constrast to the 1982 regulations), the required thickness of thermal insulation of opaque elements is the same or less than that of the 1982 regulations. Notes intended insulation requirements for 1999.
