Summary

A complex simulator has been built in order to investigate materials and instruments under the effect of space factors imposed simultaneously. The complete system consists of a vacuum chamber incorporating a cryogenic and vacuum facility, an artificial sun source, a combined proton and electron accelerator and a VUV source. Measurements performed concern mechanical, electro-physical, optical properties and various physical processes related to vacuum and radiation environment.
