Summary
A computer control system for a cold microscope stage and similar thermoelectric cooling devices is described. The output from a monitoring thermocouple is fed into the analogue port of the computer and translated into a temperature reading. The programme switches power to the thermoelectric cooling module to match actual to required temperature.
