Summary
The performances of an experimental system for protecting historic-artistic windows against thermal stress, atmospheric agents and chemical physical pollutants are presented. The system includes a special thermal-regulation and ventilation apparatus which has been operative for five years in a historic-artistic window in Saint-Lorenzo's Cathedral in Perugia.
