Summary

THE THERMAL RESISTANCE OF THE LAYERS IN A WALL MUST BE KNOWN TO DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF CONDENSATION PROCESSES IN THE CONSTRUCTION. PRESENTS A NEW MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE WHICH PERMITS THE DETERMINATION OF THE THERMAL PROPERTIES OF EACH WALL LAYER. THE METHOD IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT WHEN A CONSTANT HEAT FLUX IS APPLIED TO A MULTILAYER WALL, THE THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF EACH LAYER ARE SHOWN IN THE TEMPERATURE OR HEAT FLUX SIGNAL, WHICH VARIES WITH TIME.
