Summary

THE AUTHORS RECALL A BASIC FACT OF THERMAL KINETICS: THE ANALOGY BETWEEN THE LINEAR TRANSPORT LAWS, PARTICULARLY BETWEEN HEAT AND ELECTRICITY. THE MOST APPROPRIATE FORMULATION FOR MICROCOMPUTERS IS EXAMINED, AND THE PROGRAM DEVELOPED BY THE AUTHORS IS DESCRIBED IN DETAIL. THE METHOD PROVIDES A VALUABLE TOOL COMPARED WITH THE SOLUTION BY HAND OR BY THE FINITE ELEMENTS METHOD, WHICH REQUIRES EXPENSIVE HARDWARE. THEN, THE AUTHORS DEAL WITH THE SOLVING OF THERMAL PROBLEMS.
