Summary

The bubbles generated by the alternating-current losses move between the parallel electrodes and changes the capacity, which is converted to the frequency change by a RC-oscillation circuit. This measurement system has a shorter measuring time than calorimetric systems and is less affected by the recondensation of bubbles. The resolution of this measurement is 4 milliwatts, however, it can be improved by optimizing the electrode structure and applying higher oscillation frequencies.
