Summary

THE PAPER PRESENTS A NEW MATHEMATICAL MODEL DESCRIBING A SCREW REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH AN ECONOMIZER WITH CONSIDERATION OF SUCH ACTUAL FACTORS AS THE REQUIRED TIME TO CARRY OUT INTERMEDIATE CHARGE PROCESS, THE CHANGE OF BASIC UNIT VOLUME OF COMPRESSOR IN THE PROCESS, AND THE LEAKAGE OF WORKING MEDIUM, ETC. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS VERIFY THE RELIABILITY OF THE MODEL. WITH AN ECONOMIZER INTO THE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM, THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SYSTEM IS HIGHLY IMPROVED, BUT, IN GENERAL, THE VOLUMETRIC EFFICIENCY OF SCREW COMPRESSOR DECREASES SLIGHTLY.
