The two stage compound screw low molecular weight gas compressor.
Author(s) : DREKSLER M. Y.
Summary
The paper presents the most recent developments in the design of one and two stage screw helium compressors. Improvements come mainly from reduction of internal gas leakages, and from modification of the discharge port, which reduces the hydraulic hammer effects on bearings and on shaft power. All data for a computer rating program are given.
