Summary

A SERIES OF SUPERCONDUCTING PHASES HASBEEN SYNTHESIZED BY POWDER SINTERING IN THIS SYSTEM AND THE CRYSTAL STRUCTURES OF THESE SUPERCONDUCTING PHASES HAVE BEEN DETERMINED WITH THE X-RAY POWDER DIFFRACTION METHOD. ALL OF THESE SUPERCONDUCTING PHASES BELONG TO THE TETRAGONAL SYMMETRY. THEY CAN BE DIVIDED INTO 2 TYPES. TYPE 1 CONTAINS ONLY ONE SINGLE THALLIUM-OXYGEN LAYER AS AN INTERCALATION AND TYPE 2 CONTAINS 2 THALLIUM-OXYGEN LAYERS.
