Summary

BASED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF THERMODYNAMICS, SOME THEORETICAL PROBLEMS OF ENERGY SAVINGS IN DOMESTIC REFRIGERATOR CYCLES USING NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES ARE DISCUSSED AND SOME TRADITIONAL VIEWPOINTS ARE ANALYSED. IT IS POINTED OUT THAT THE PRINCIPLE OF HEAT OF MIXING IN SELECTING NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES SHOULD BE: THE GREATER THE HEAT OF MIXING, THE BETTER.
