Summary
Brief description of the refrigerating system, which was put in operation in France in 1992. The system includes 130 m2 of vacuum solar collectors, a lithium bromide/water absorption plant, a cooling tower and air conditioners. For its first year of operation, the system produced a thermal capacity of 41,000 kiloW and refrigerating a capacity of 19,700 kiloW, with an efficiency of 48%. J.G.
