Summary
The paper deals with the problem of humidity condensation inside the structural elements of the roof in residential buildings. A ventilated jacket is regarded as a proper solution of this problem; in this regard, a procedure is proposed for the evaluation of the minimum air change rate that prevents the condensation. Examples of calculation are proposed for typical cases related to Italy.
