Adsorption beds of zeolite on aluminium sheets.
Author(s) : RESTUCCIA G., FRENI A., CACCIOLA G.
Summary
A new adsorber bed is proposed, consisting of layered Na-A zeolite chemically bound to a metallic substrate. It shows a significant reduction of the heat transfer resistance between the solid adsorbent and the heat exchanger wall, and an improvement of the equivalent thermal conductivity of the adsorbent layer, in comparison with a bed. The preparation procedure of the layered zeolite-metallic substrate samples is described.
