A SYSTEM UNDER TRIAL DRIES THE AIR TO A LOW SPECIFIC HUMIDITY BY CHEMICAL ABSORPTION AND THEN ADDS HUMIDITY TO THE REQUIRED LEVEL, TO COOL THE AIR BY EVAPORATION.
