A DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN OF AIR-CONDITIOING PLANT IN A TEXTILE WORKS IN NICARAGUA, WHICH FEATURES 4 SINGLE-STOREYED PRODUCTION HALLS OF 14,100 M2 FLOOR AREA. THE TOTAL AIR CAPACITY OF ALL 7 AIR-CONDITIONING PLANTS IS 266. 6 M3/SECOND WITH A REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF SOME 3,000 KILOWATTS. FOR AIR COOLING, USE IS MADE OF AN ADIABATIC WET-AIR COOLING SYSTEM WITH MASONED NOZZLE CHAMBERS. THIS CONTRIBUTION ALSO INCLUDES A DESCRIPTION OF NECESSARY SECONDARY PLANTS SUCH AS REFRIGERATING AND WELL SYSTEMS AND THE POWER SUPPLY NEEDED FOR RUNNING THE AIR-CONDITIONING PLANT.
