Summary

This article deals with recommended technical parameters and requirements for ventilation and air-conditioning systems in hospitals based on standards, technical recommendations and guidelines. The technical standards and recommendations for ventilation and air-conditioning systems of hygienic rooms in hospitals, localization of air intake chambers and air exhaust chambers, choice of geometry, recommended smoothness and cleanness of ventilation ducts are presented in the first part of the article. Close attention has been paid to the recommendations on the heat recovery and air recirculation in ventilation systems, fire-safety systems as well as prevention of noise and vibrations.
