Air conditioning double-ceiling.

[In German. / En allemand.]

Summary

For the air conditioning of office buildings, reinforced concrete ceilings with visible underfaces are heated or cooled. The outside air is heated or cooled by the top face of the ceilings whilst being distributed on the way through the cavities of cavity floors which also accommodate additional installations. Special control systems consider the extreme inertness of the system. The advantages are: low installation costs, high economy, low heating and high cooling water temperatures, heating by refrigeration units also working as heat pumps, low overall heights for ceiling constructions, lower numbers of air changes and less draught air. A patent has been issued in Germany and has been applied for France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Japan.
