Summary
Draft proposal of an Italian regulation concerning the evaluation of the museums' inside spaces with respect to the preservation of their contents. The quality of the ambient conditions is defined by air temperature, wall surface temperature, air humidity, illumination, and UV-radiation flux. A methodology is also provided for in-the-field measurements, and recommended values of the relevant environmental variables are proposed. E.F.
