Air conditioning in southern Europe. Gas air conditioning: how do we stand?
Il condizionamento dell'aria nel sud dell'Europa. Il condizionamento a gas: a che punto siamo?
Author(s) : LAZZARIN R. M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The overview of thermally-activated cooling techniques shows an ample variety of options with potential outputs that range from a few dozen kW up to several MW, with systems that rely on either gas or heat recovery, or a combination of the two. The need for electrical energy can really become very limited, often restricted to the operation of the pumps and fans alone. The paper presents a survey concerning various types of equipment and possible developments.
