NOTES THE USE OF AIR JETS IN OFFICE AIR CONDITIONING. ANALYSES THE EFFECTS ON AIR MOVEMENT IN A STANDARD-TYPE OFFICE IN RELATION TO THE HEAT LOAD. STATES THAT WITH THE USE OF LINEAR AIR DIFFUSION GRILLES, AIR VELOCITIES OF 0.20 M/S ARE ENCOUNTERED WITH LOADS AS LOW AS 10 W/M2. HOWEVER, WITH RADIAL AIR SUPPLY GRILLES, A HEAT LOAD AS HIGH AS 50 W/M2 CAN BEHANDLED WITHOUT EXCEEDING 0.20 M/S IN ANY SECTOR OF THE SPACE.
