Summary
Air filters are classified according to collection mechanism into two types, namely screen type and electrostatic type. They are further classified by handling procedure (maintenance procedure) into self-renewal type, self-regeneration type, filter-element exchange type and unit exchange type. The main points related to filter operation and maintenance, as well as maintenance periodicity, are outlined in the article.
