Summary
Presents the results of measurements of air leakage of 12 large office buildings, 4 naturally-ventilated and the remainder air-conditioned. The research results indicate that for relatively large office buildings in the United Kingdom there are openings left in the structure which are on average equivalent to 5 m2. Specifies a recommended maximum air leakage value for all new buildings and for air-conditioned or low-energy buildings.
