DESCRIBES A STUDY BASED ON FIELD MEASUREMENTS TO SURVEY AIR VELOCITIES, STANDARD DEVIATIONS, TURBULENCE INTENSITIES AND FLUCTUATION FREQUENCIES IN DWELLINGS AND OFFICES WITH VARIOUS VENTILATION AND AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS. ONLY ROOMS WITH THE MOST TYPICAL VENTILATION SYSTEMS WERE INVESTIGATED. A COMPUTER PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED TO ANALYSE THE FLUCTUATION FREQUENCIES. SUMMARISES THE RESULTS AND DISCUSSES THE INFLUENCE OF AIR DISTRIBUTION AND VENTILATION SYSTEMS ON THE MEASURED FACTORS.
