Summary
The world-famous art collection of the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, Bavaria, imposes very high requirements with regards to the reliability of the cooling system, because this famous museum exhibits over 700 paintings spanning four centuries. The air-conditioning technology used at the Alte Pinakothek was modernized in October 2003. The objective: air cooling integrated to the cooling tower of the old installation will durably reduce water consumption.
