Author(s) : KE J., XIA L.

Type of article: Article, Case study

Summary

To prevent the underwater glass gallery from occurring condensation in the winter, the paper analyses the convection heat transfer between the external surface of the enclosure and the outdoor air and radiation heat transfer between external surface of the enclosure and the sky. It determines the value of outdoor sol-air temperature and use it in place of the outdoor air-conditioning calculation temperature. It calculates and checks the heat transfer and condensation prevention during the day and night under different conditions. It deduces the calculation method of the summer cooling load of the underwater glass gallery envelope and calculates this part of the cooling load. The air distribution in the gallery is described.
