Alternatives to vapour compression refrigeration in office buildings: first results of simulation calculations.
Alternativen zur Kompressions Kältenutzung in Bürogebäuden: Erste Ergebnisse von Simulationsrechnungen.
Author(s) : BEHNE M., LAWRENCE E. O.
Summary
Various strategies were studied for office buildings, including sub-cooling, evaporative cooling, absorption refrigeration and desiccant cooling. The goal was to demonstrate the feasibility of such options and to compare their primary energy consumption with that of an optimised, modern compression plant. Results are presented of simulations of different types of office cooling as a function of different types of climate data.
