Summary
This is the second part of the paper dealing with operation of ammonia refrigeration equipment. The data suitable for the design of the failure of ventilation systems along with detection and safety signalling systems have been presented on the basis of the discussion presented in the first part of the paper (see the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2004-2191). The exemplary design for the least favourable particular case has been discussed for a refrigerated building placed at a certain distance from the engine room and the ammonia refrigeration installation situated on two floors.
