An absolute cryogenic calibration source for a 2.5 gigahertz radiometer.
Author(s) : GERVASI M., BONELLI G., SIRONI G., CAVALIERE F., PASSERINI A., CASANI S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The calibration system provides an absolute reference near the liquid helium boiling point. The accuracy of the reference source is better than 100 milliK. The authors use this cold load to perform absolute temperature measurements of the cosmic microwave background radiation.
