Summary
THIS PAPER STUDIES A PROCESS FOR USING SOLAR ENERGY FOR HEATING A GLASS-HOUSE. A CONVENTIONAL PLANT WITH UNIT HEATERS, COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT OF THE SOLAR PLANT FULLY MEETS THE CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS WHEN SOLAR ENERGY IS INSUFFICIENT. THE MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION MODEL ADOPTED, SUITABLE TO THE OPERATING MODES OF THE HEATING SYSTEM, WITH CONSERVATIVE SIMPLIFYING ASSUMPTIONS, MAKES THE OBTAINED RESULTS PARTICULARLY INTERESTING AND RELIABLE.
