EXISTING FORMULAE BECOME LESS SUFFICIENT AS POROSITY INCREASES. THE ASYMPTOTIC APPROACH ATTACKS THE PROBLEM FROM THE CONSIDERATION OF A RESULT WHICH IS A PERTURBATION OF CLEAR FLOW.
