Summary
In this study, the experimental heat transfer characteristics in plate heat exchanger water-LiBr absorption refrigerator are investigated. The experiment was conducted in a plate type heat exchanger with symmetric chevron angle. The energy balance between the hot and cold side solutions are within about 2.03% error. The overall heat transfer coefficient of each side increased as each solution flow rate increased.
