A TYPICAL RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR CONSISTS OF A MOTOR, A PUMP, A SUCTION-DISCHARGE SYSTEM AND A LUBRICATION SYSTEM. AN INTEGRATED COMPUTER SIMULATION MODEL INCORPORATING ALL THESE COMPONENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY WAS DEVELOPED TO PREDICT, EVALUATE AND OPTIMIZE THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY.
