Analysis of entropy increase in surface type air coolers and performance evaluation criteria for enhanced heat exchangers.
[In Chinese. / En chinois.]
Author(s) : PENG X. B., YAN Q. S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article proposes performance evaluation criteria based on whether the entropy increase per unit of heat transfer capacity of an enhanced heat exchanger is less than that of the unenhanced one. This helps assess the enhanced heat exhange effects both qualitatively and quantitatively. Two air coolers with different extended surface structures are compared through calculation and applicability of performance evaluation criteria in engineering is confirmed.
