Summary

The magnetic refrigeration cycle is the key to magnetic refrigeration technology, which is the basis for high efficiency of magnetic refrigerator. In this article, the magnetic refrigeration basic cycle and active magnetic regenerator cycle are introduced in detail according to the theoretical research on the magnetic refrigeration cycle. Moreover, some irreversible factors affecting the performance of the cycle are analysed. Finally, the future development of the magnetic refrigeration cycle is described.
