Summary
Recent development of research on a high-density energy storage medium, hydrate, in thermal storage systems, refrigeration systems and solid/gas sorption heat pump systems is stated. Current research on other hydrate slurry such as CO, hydrate slurry and TBAB hydrate slurry is also described. The suggestion is provided on the future study direction and the application in engineering practice for the hydrate technologies.
