Summary

CRYOAPPLICATION TO LIVER TISSUE WAS PERFORMED IN 8 PATIENTS WITH SECONDARY NEOPLASTIC LESIONSOF LIVER. MICROSCOPIC AND ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC STUDY SHOWED THAT HEPATIC CRYOSURGERY INDUCED LESSER CLINICAL, MORPHOLOGICAL AND FUNCTIONAL CHANGES THAN THE TRADITIONAL METHODS OF LIVER RESECTION. THE LIFE DURATION OF 4 PATIENTS AFTER LIVER CRYOSURGERY IS MORE THAN 4.5 YEARS.
