Summary

This Canadian programme aims at further improvements in the efficiency of ground source heat pumps for domestic and small commercial buildings. There are over 30,000 such units in use in Canada. New developments and test installations use hydronic ground pipe loops, and heat air directly or by floor coils. Tests are proceeding with water and air flow modulation controls and heat reclaim to source water from exhaust air. A.R.T.
