Are you in control?

Summary
Building energy control and management systems are preprogrammed to maintain set conditions within the various spaces. They may be unable to adapt to a change initiated by an occupier, and this can lead to inefficient operation, and a lack of comfort. Users will become frustrated and discontented with conditions which are beyond their control. A survey of 11 buildings showed that some degree of local control is required, and systems should be able to respond quickly and efficiently to these changes. A.R.T.
