Summary

THE CONVENTIONAL WATER SPRAY SYSTEM DOES NOT PRODUCE SNOW OF THE SAME CONSISTENCY AND QUALITY AS NATURAL SNOW. THE AUTHOR HAS THEREFORE DEVISED AN APPARATUS WHICH USES AN ULTRASONIC ATOMIZER AND ICE CRYSTAL GENERATOR. MOISTURE AND ICE CRYSTALS ARE INJECTED INTO A TUNNEL WHERE THE CRYSTALS ARE ALLOWED TO GROW AT 258.5 K (-14.5 DEG C).
