Summary

ENERGY-SAVING MEASURES NECESSITATE THE KNOWLEDGE AND ASSESSMENT OF ENERGY TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES AS WELL AS LOSS ANALYSES. DIFFERENT PARAMETERS SUCH AS FIGURE OF MERIT AND COMPRESSOR EFFICIENCY ARE EVALUATED IN TERMS OF BENEFIT. ALSO, A COMPARISON IS MADE OF THE TEST CONDITIONS THAT ARE DIFFERENT BOTH IN TIME AND REGION. IT IS PROPOSED TO USE COMPRESSOR EFFICIENCY AS A PARAMETER FOR THE EVALUATION OF ENERGY TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES IN COMPRESSORS, AND TO DRAW UP STANDARDS BOTH ON A NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCALE THAT SPECIFY BETTER ADAPTED LOADS FOR INDIVIDUAL COMPRESSOR TESTS AND FOR THE INTERMITTENT OPERATION OF REFRIGERATING MACHINES. A SUGGESTION IS MADE ON THE APPROACH.
