Summary
The numerical control-command system of new methane carriers constructed by the French shipyards of the Atlantic is described in detail. It integrates into a single system, the control, automation, command, monitoring and supervision of all the procedures relating to the mechanical components and the freight. The availability of the system is obtained by the implementation, at all levels, of active redundancies relying on approved industrial materials. J.L.
